Exchange of information on request with other tax administrations
On March 12 2018, the Republic of Serbia became the 149th member state of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes. On July 22 2019, Serbia verified and ratified the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters done in Strasbourg on January 25 1988 and amended and supplemented by Protocol amending the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters done in Paris on July 22 2019. In accordance with the existing Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements and the present Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters, Serbia has the possibility to collect data for purposes of exchange of information on request from other tax administrations and to provide information on request to other tax administrations.
